Welcome Major Event
Each spring, the College holds a Major Welcome event, where students are welcomed by faculty members of their chosen majors.
This year, AFAS's Major Welcome event is sports-themed and will be held Friday, March 31st on the second floor of McMillan Hall. Students in the Department of African & African American Studies, will have the opportunity to meet faculty, staff, and other students in their field; learn more about opportunities in their program; and, of course, celebrate their major!
There will be free snacks and fun trivia! We hope to see declared majors and minors, but all are welcome to attend and participate!
