The Afro‑Latin America on Camera Undergraduate Research Symposium showcases collaborative research presentations by students enrolled in the course Afro‑Latin America on Camera. The symposium explores Blackness in Latin American film, photography, and visual culture, spanning from the final decades of slavery to contemporary movements for Black life. Student panels will be followed by a Q&A, and faculty, graduate students, and undergraduates are warmly invited to attend and engage with the presenters.
