Dr. Koang Tutlam Dung brings a wealth of experience from his career as a medical doctor and diplomat, having represented the Ethiopian government in Accra, Tokyo, Zimbabwe, and other Southern African nations. Most recently, he served as Ethiopia’s Deputy Minister of Petroleum and Mines until April 2021. In this talk, Dr. Dung will reflect on Africa’s historical legacy, its present challenges, and its promising future from the perspective of a seasoned diplomat and global leader.
